- DirectX 10
- Geometry Shader
As part of out Graphics Programming 2 course we had to write a geometry shader.
I decided to go with metaballs because it looked nice and that I liked the fact it was using both code and maths. For those metaballs I went with the Marching Tetrahedron 5 algorithm.
This shader felt like it was on a whole other level compared to the ones that I made before that.
I really had a lot of fun working on it and it really shows off what geometry shaders are really capable of.
